Salary: €41,600 - €62,400 (ROI) or £30,600 - £46,000 (NI) + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role

We are looking for a positive, highly motivated multitasker with a genuine interest in compliance. The Assurance Auditor is a key member of the Assurance, Risk and Data Protection Team within SSE Airtricity. This team holds responsibility for delivering the assurance framework, the assurance audit plan and the assurance actions process.

You will:

  • Operate to ensure compliance with Regulatory Licence and Codes of Practice, SSE internal policies, legal obligations and any other applicable standards which impact the way we conduct business.
  • Assess, measure and improve assurance and compliance throughout the business.
  • Conduct scheduled audits and reviews, utilising strong technical knowledge, reporting tools, and billing systems to interrogate databases and generate required outcomes.
  • Present clear, detailed reports summarising audit scope, findings, root causes and remediation plans.
  • Escalate high-risk findings promptly and monitor and support the implementation of corrective measures.

You have:

  • Excellent stakeholder management, presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong data and professional report-writing skills.
  • The ability to gather, analyse and present accurate, complex information in an easy to understand report.
  • Knowledge of designing and developing Power BI reports producing actionable insight is a considerable advantage.
  • The ability to use reporting tools and billing systems to interrogate databases and generate required outcomes, with Peace experience being advantageous.
