Base Location: Gateshead

Salary: Circa £28,000 depending on skills and experience + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role:

  • We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Smart Buildings Coordinator to join our team in Gateshead. As the backbone of our operations, you will be joining our Administration team who are responsible for the administrative processes and procedures that keep our business running smoothly.
  • Manage all administrative tasks including scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and maintaining project documentation.
  • Streamline project workflows and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide indispensable support to our Support and Projects teams, serving as the go-to person for all administrative needs.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders, ensuring everyone is on the same page.
  • Address challenges proactively by identifying practical solutions that keep projects on track, within budget and aligned with objectives.

You have:

  • Proven experience in office administration or project coordination, preferably in the Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) or construction industry.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with an eager eye for detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
  • Knowledge of BEMS or HVAC systems is a plus, but not required.
