The predicted salary is between 22 - 32 £ per hour.

£27 p/h (Via Agency). Van, fuel card, PPE & test equipment provided. 3‑month contract with potential to extend, 37 hours per week, immediate start. We’re urgently seeking an Approved Electrician to support compliance works across various industrial and commercial sites, including quarries, breweries and NHS properties. Based from Exeter, the role involves travelling to field locations across Devon and South West England, carrying out inspection, testing and remedial works to meet demand.

Responsibilities

  • Site‑based Monday‑Friday with occasional weekend overtime during shutdown periods.
  • Travel across South West England.
  • Electrical inspection and testing to BS7671 standards.
  • Emergency lighting and equipment testing.
  • Remedial works based on inspection findings.
  • Work to client scopes and safety procedures.
  • Daily van‑based travel directly to client sites.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
  • City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing.
  • 18th Edition (BS7671).
  • AM2 (or equivalent full apprenticeship route).
  • ECS Card.
  • Strong experience with commercial/industrial environments.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work independently.
  • First Aid qualification.
  • Asbestos Awareness certificate.
  • A clear Basic DBS check within the last 3 months.
