The role involves supporting SSE Airtricity in achieving Energy Efficiency obligations through the monitoring, verification and reporting of commercial projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering onsite energy audits to customers from a broad range of industries, ensuring an SI426 standard of audit.
- Understanding customer energy requirements and identifying energy saving and renewable energy opportunities.
- Undertaking measurement and verification of energy savings from various energy efficiency projects.
- Reviewing Energy Conservation Measures (ECM’s) and producing M&V plans for accurate monitoring of energy consumption.
- Analysing data and developing methods to validate savings, including regression analysis and normalisation of data using ENPIs.
You should have:
- Demonstrable experience as an Engineer, ideally with an Energy Management qualification (CMVP/ CEM).
- Self-motivation and recognised project management and organisation skills.
- Registration as an SEAI Energy Auditor or membership of relevant professional bodies.
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, verbal and written communication skills.
- A full driving licence due to the need to visit remote locations.
