The role
We're looking for a proactive and commercially minded Management Accountant to join a growing finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving business performance. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll provide insightful analysis and ensure robust financial controls, helping the business achieve its growth objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Deliver financial reporting and insights to senior stakeholders
- Monitor financial performance and identify trends and risks
- Assist with year‑end processes and audit requirements
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
- Business partner across departments to support decision‑making
- Drive continuous improvements in financial processes and systems
Your experience
- Part‑qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a management accounting or similar finance role
- Experience working with budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
- Experience using finance systems and Excel for analysis and reporting
