Responsibilities:
The role will focus primarily on the insurance market, including insurers, underwriting organisations, and participants in the Lloyd's of London ecosystem. This position is suited to a high-performing individual contributor who enjoys building relationships across the market, expanding existing engagements, and developing new opportunities. While the role includes growing relationships with current customers, an important part of the mandate is to engage new organisations across the insurance ecosystem and help them explore the potential of automation and AI-led transformation.
The successful candidate will bring strong Financial Services and Insurance industry expertise, an established network across the sector, and the ability to lead consultative conversations around digital transformation, automation strategies, and AI-enabled operating models. While the primary focus will be Insurance, the role may also provide exposure to adjacent Financial Services segments such as wealth and asset management, working alongside colleagues covering those areas.
We welcome individuals with experience selling enterprise SaaS, cloud, or digital transformation platforms into the Financial Services sector, particularly those familiar with the challenges facing insurance organisations.
What you will get to do:
- Drive growth across the insurance sector
- Develop and execute account and territory strategies focused on UK & Ireland insurance organizations
- Engage with insurers, managing agents, and underwriting organizations across the Lloyd's of London market
- Identify and develop new opportunities while expanding relationships within existing accounts
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline aligned with revenue objectives
- Lead consultative sales engagements
- Engage senior stakeholders in conversations around automation, AI, and operational transformation
- Position SS&C Blue Prism solutions as part of broader enterprise automation and digital workforce strategies
- Help organizations explore how AI-driven automation and emerging agentic capabilities can enhance efficiency and decision-making
- Establish trusted relationships with executives and senior decision-makers across the insurance sector
- Engage stakeholders across business, operations, transformation, and technology functions
- Navigate procurement, legal, and regulatory considerations common in Financial Services
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting
- Work effectively within a partner ecosystem: Collaborate with system integrators, consulting partners, and transformation specialists
- Work closely with internal teams including pre-sales, delivery, and customer success
- Share market insights and customer feedback with the wider Financial Services team
- Support the development of strategic initiatives and go-to-market programs across Europe
What we are looking for:
- Financial Services and insurance expertise
- Experience working with or selling technology solutions into Financial Services, particularly the insurance sector
- Understanding of the operational and regulatory challenges faced by insurance organizations
- Familiarity with the dynamics of the London insurance market and the Lloyd's of London ecosystem
- Strong industry network
- Established professional network across insurance organizations in the UK & Ireland
- Existing relationships with stakeholders across underwriting, operations, transformation, or technology teams
- Ability to leverage industry relationships to create new opportunities
- Enterprise SaaS and technology sales experience
- Proven track record selling enterprise software or SaaS solutions
