To meet the growing demand for our Investment management, trading and accounting solutions, SS&C Advent is seeking a Sales Manager to be based in our offices in London focusing on our credit and loans solutions. The Sales Manager will be a key member of SS&C Advent’s sales team – targeting the UK asset management organisations such as fund managers, hedge fund managers, private equity managers, fund distributors, fund administrators, where credit and loan instruments are being serviced.

What You Will Get To Do:
- Work with the Managing Director of Sales in the generation of new business pipeline and software license sales in the credit and loans vertical.
- Work closely with the solution consultancy team to assist them with all presales requests and management of the team approach.
- Qualify leads and build a pipeline of qualified prospects.
- Drive and manage sales cycles of SS&C Advent solutions from start to finish, ie. from lead generation to close.
- Organise and conduct client meetings, presentations and workshops and understand key requirements through consultative sales analysis, convert needs analysis into full software demonstrations, working in conjunction with the solution consultancy team.
- Work out client proposals (software solution, services plan and commercial terms).
- Communicate deal information to management, accurately forecast pipeline, manage revenue recognition issues and deal closure.
- Conduct business research on prospects, opportunities, competitors and segments and come up with and execute a comprehensive new-business acquisition strategy.
- Own and drive business development activities, such as working with the consultant influencer and selection companies.
- Partner up with the marketing team to develop plans for brand awareness and consistent lead generation.
- Support the regional team and lead relationships with key external partners and influencers in relevant market spaces.
- Represent the company at relevant industry events and conferences.
- Sharing insights and deal-related actionable recommendations for product enhancements.
- Internally, this role will actively interact with various cross-functional team members including Solution Consultants, Professional Services, other members of the Sales team, Legal, Accounting, Operations, Data Specialists, Product Managers, Marketing and various members of Senior Management.
- You will need to effectively leverage internal relationships within the organisation to help advance deals through the pipeline.
- Record and track sales activities on Salesforce.
What You Will Bring:
- An established network in the credit and loans space within the asset management industry.
- Over 5 years new business sales experience.
- A known network of C Level operations to start discussions on our solutions, with the help of our consultancy team, within the first 6 weeks of onboarding.
