What You Will Get To Do: SS&C are seeking a highly skilled strategic Product and Solutions Director to join our team based in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our efforts in identification, development, and launch of new Family Office products and solutions. Working closely with senior leadership and other cross-functional teams, you will oversee the entire product lifecycle—from concept and research to execution and market launch. This role requires a strong understanding of hedge fund strategies, market trends, and client needs, with a focus on driving innovation and enhancing our competitive edge. This role demands a high level of strategic thinking, leadership, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage and implement new solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for SS&C’s family office product and solutions, focusing on identifying market opportunities, trends, and emerging client needs.
- Client Engagement: Collaborate with key clients and internal stakeholders to understand their evolving needs, gather feedback, and tailor product solutions that address their requirements. Acquisitions – Identify and participate in the evaluation of potential acquisition targets which align with SS&C’s strategic objectives.
- Market Insights & Trends: Stay ahead of market trends, industry regulations, and client demands to inform product development and strategy. Provide thought leadership on family office services and emerging industry developments and trends.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as sales, technology, and business teams to ensure the successful implementation and delivery of family office solutions. Facilitate seamless communication between departments to ensure product offerings are aligned with client needs.
- Go-To-Market Strategy: Working in collaboration with SS&C’s marketing team to develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for family office product and solutions ensuring effective positioning, messaging and communication to target audiences.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with regional business development teams to support the promotion of our family office capabilities to prospective clients, consultants, and industry influencers. Actively participate in industry conferences, panel discussions, and roundtable events to enhance market presence and engagement.
What You Will Bring:
- Demonstrated experience with European family office structures, with additional exposure to Middle Eastern and APAC family offices considered a strong advantage.
- Experience in Alternatives Fund Administration.
- Proven track record in product management, product strategy, or product development within the family office sector.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and interact with senior stakeholders and cross functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, including the ability to effectively present and demonstrate solutions to clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders.
