This role has a stronger focus on UI/UX and API integrations. This is a high-impact role where you will drive the strategy, development, and optimisation of our platform, ensuring it meets the needs of our clients in the Funds and Investment industry. This is an opportunity to own and drive the strategy for one of the most critical product areas in our digital ecosystem. This role requires a passionate and confident product manager having direct communication with one of our clients. Customers are at the core of our work, and we aim for excellence. We offer a hybrid working environment, a strong learning and development culture, and the chance to work with some of the most talented professionals in fintech.

SS&C plays a critical role in the asset and wealth management industry, and our Product team has the opportunity to shape digital solutions for institutional investors, asset managers, and advisors. This role sits within the Global Investor and Distribution Solutions (GIDS), the business unit that delivers global omni-channel investor servicing, including contact centre, as well as digital services.

What You Will Get

Identify opportunities to enhance user experience, performance, and feature capabilities to create market-leading solutions.

Collaborate with engineering, UX/UI, and data teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality products with a strong focus on usability, security, and performance. Build strong business cases and prioritise the product backlog, selecting appropriate prioritisation frameworks and managing trade-offs across new features, technical improvements, commercial opportunities, and regulatory compliance. Drive an agile, iterative approach using data-driven insights, experimentation, pilots, MVPs, and user feedback to refine and improve the user experience. Independently lead complex initiatives across your product area, from discovery through to delivery and optimisation. Ensure the products integrate seamlessly and that the right APIs are used, supporting a connected digital ecosystem for our clients. Engage with Delivery Leads and Customer Relationship Managers to help them service our Digital clients.
  • Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, engineering teams, designers, and business leaders to align on product goals, resolve conflicts constructively, and maintain momentum in execution. Engage with clients and internal teams to gather feedback and validate product decisions, ensuring solutions meet business and regulatory requirements. Partner with relationship managers and customer success teams to drive adoption, engagement, and retention for clients and their users. Present strategy, roadmap decisions, and performance insights confidently to leadership, using clear and evidence-based communication.
  • Analytics, Performance & Compliance: Define and monitor KPIs and success metrics to track performance, user engagement, and feature adoption. Work with data and analytics teams to derive insights and optimise the user experience through continuous improvements. Ensure the products meet compliance, security, and accessibility standards, collaborating with legal and risk teams where necessary. Mentor and guide junior product managers, sharing best practices and leading by example. Support a collaborative and client-focused culture across the department. Contribute to improving ways of working, team effectiveness, and product management standards. May provide day-to-day guidance to a junior team member where required.
