What You Will Get To Do:
- Lead and manage a team of IBM i (iSeries/IBMi) system administrators
- Oversee operating system upgrades, patching activities, and application of Program Temporary Fixes (PTFs) and cumulative packages
- Monitor system performance including CPU utilization, memory consumption, and disk activity; analyze logs and optimize resource allocation
- Manage backup operations (nightly, weekly, quarterly) using BRMS or similar tools and lead disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution
- Administer user profiles, security settings, authority structures, and enforce system access controls and security policies
- Diagnose and resolve system, hardware, and software issues
