What You Will Get to Do

  • Deliver Business Systems Analysis output to high‑quality deliverables that increase business value and align with the strategic product direction.
  • Assess, validate and improve requirement quality against analysis standards and best practices.
  • Provide business system analysis and functional design working across the full project lifecycle on a complex, multi‑year programme.
  • Analyze/validate business solutions and translate them into technology requirements to increase the business value and/or ensure successful programme delivery.
  • Provide functional design documentation and user story development, including acceptance criteria.
  • Understand our IT systems, databases and infrastructure, including complex system architectures involving the integration of multiple systems (including third parties).
  • Work on solution analysis techniques, including Use Cases, UML modelling diagrams, User Interface Design, Domain Modelling, Logical data modelling and Business Rules modelling.
  • Provide workshop facilitation and solution demonstration ‘play back’.
  • Requirement traceability and change management.

What You Will Bring

  • Domain knowledge in one or more of the following areas will assist in the role.
  • Understanding of UK wealth management business processes, including portfolio management, client onboarding, reporting and regulatory requirements.
  • Platform/Wrap Account Products, which enable investors to hold assets across multiple managers and trade directly in the share market.
  • Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit Plans Fund Management.
  • Annuity and Pension Products.
  • Personal wealth investments such as Unit Trusts and Managed Funds.
  • Professional Experience
  • Business System Analysts in the role typically have more than 5 + years of formal technical analysis experience, working with project teams of more than 10 people.
  • Experience of working with internationally distributed teams is critical.
  • Experience working within an Agile delivery environment is also an advantage.
  • Working understanding of management tools (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Other Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Driven and will engage in self‑learning.
  • Ability to travel to our other locations and client sites.
