We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Investor Services to lead a bespoke operating model within our Funds Administration department and manage client relationship and account functions. What You Will Get To Do
- Operational Oversight & Strategic Continuous Improvement: Lead and manage a multi‑functional operations team, overseeing day to day activities as well as risk and compliance control framework for a client‑bespoke operating model. Drive process and technology innovations that improve the customer experience, optimize the operating model and provide a high quality, compliant service. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to align operational objectives with overall company goals and client expectations. Proactively analyse operational data and client feedback to identify areas for continuous improvement. Embed process and culture to drive this culture and operational remediation across the department. Report on Operational MI and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular updates to senior management.
- Team Building & Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high‑performing operations team, fostering accountability within a collaborative and results‑driven culture. Identify and develop talent within the team, providing coaching, training, and growth opportunities. Manage cost centre and operational expenses.
- Client Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships at the executive and operational levels. Understand client needs across the business and ensure the delivery of operational or technology solutions that meet or exceed client expectations. Maintain responsibility for service levels and performance reviews, ensure satisfaction, and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and effective manner. Collaborate closely with the client’s teams to anticipate challenges, identify opportunities, and continuously improve service delivery. Maintain client contractual and revenue terms.
What You Will Bring
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in financial services operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in asset management or working with asset manager clients is highly desirable.
- Leadership: Proven track record in building, leading, and developing high‑performing teams within a fast‑paced, client‑centric operational service environment.
- Client Relationship Management: Exceptional ability to manage and nurture relationships with external clients, ensuring the highest level of service and client satisfaction.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to develop and implement long‑term operational strategies that align with client goals.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to senior leadership and clients in a clear and concise manner.
- Technology Savvy: Familiarity with financial systems, data analysis tools, and business process management tools.
- Detail‑Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to manage complex, multi‑faceted operations and high‑profile client relationships.
