About the role: Join our 2-year graduate programme starting in February ****. This role sits within the SS C GIDs Chorus Build UK team and will give you the opportunity to develop technical capability across hosting, automation, and workflow design. You'll be supporting the ongoing development and maintenance of SS C's private cloud environment and contributing to a major programme of work to migrate Legacy Chorus systems. It's a good fit for someone interested in cloud technologies, who enjoys problem-solving, and wants to build solid technical foundations alongside an experienced global team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting Chorus hosting activities within the SS C Private Cloud
  • Assisting with the build and maintenance of automation scripts
  • Helping with database creation and amendments
  • Contributing to application networking tasks
  • Supporting promotion processes and release activities
  • Maintaining components of the wider Chorus ecosystem to ensure stability and security

Skills and knowledge we're looking for:

  • Education: A minimum 2:2 degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. Must have graduated in **** or ****.
  • Technical skills: Understanding of cloud hosting (AWS or private cloud), awareness of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub), interest in automation/IaC tools (Terraform), basic understanding of scripting or workflow automation (JavaScript), foundational scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Groovy), understanding of Linux commands or databases (Oracle experience is a bonus), awareness of cybersecurity considerations, interest in monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Grafana).
  • Personal qualities: Collaborative and willing to work across different teams, proactive and able to take initiative when solving problems, curious about how systems work and open to learning, comfortable developing skills through hands-on experience.

What your first 6–12 months will look like:

You'll be supported by colleagues across the UK, India, and Thailand. During this period, you will:

  • Work closely with global developers and DevOps engineers
  • Build your understanding of hosting, automation, and workflow design
  • Contribute to the Legacy Chorus migration into the SS C Private Cloud
  • Develop confidence through paired work and guided deliverables
  • Collaborate with other graduates, including those in RPA, on shared tasks

You will have a clear development path, steadily increasing your knowledge, skills, and confidence throughout the programme.
