We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Services & Insurance Sales Director with a proven track record in Sales Leadership and success. The ideal candidate will be capable of analyzing the sector, devising new strategies, and developing a GTM playbook for these areas. We need an expert with the knowledge, charisma, and energy to inspire teams, gain support, and significantly raise performance standards, especially outside healthcare.

Your Experience:

  • Proven success in managing teams and selling within the sector across the UK and Europe.
  • Deep understanding of procurement processes, including how, when, and why the sector makes purchasing decisions.
  • Charisma and gravitas to lead change and implement strategies that promote success.
  • Experience in executive leadership, managing high performers, mentoring, coaching, and making timely difficult decisions.
  • Ability to engage with senior executives openly and transparently for team improvement.
  • Understanding that leadership involves ongoing learning, accepting challenges, and coaching.
  • Ability to create a structured, positive, and winning environment.
  • Proficiency in hiring and retaining top talent.
  • Leadership in coaching teams to succeed at senior levels, aligned with GTM strategies and major GSI partners.
  • Background in consultative sales, with a strong grasp of complex solution sales cycles and successful solution selling.
  • Credibility at both executive and operational levels, capable of developing long-term relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing a Financial Services Sector team that sells directly and collaborates with strategic GSI alliance and channel partners to develop new business opportunities.
  • Identifying key decision-makers, requirements, and timelines within potential prospects.
  • Collaborating with senior relationship holders in key alliance partners for joint selling campaigns, maintaining engagement at the highest levels.
  • Adapting sales materials to specific and local markets, understanding contractual, regulatory, and procurement challenges.
  • Applying strategic thinking, creativity, and innovation with demonstrable examples.
  • Providing sales feedback to technical teams and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Using structured sales processes (like MEDDICC) to drive demand generation, pipeline, and opportunity management, including pipeline partnerships.
