We are looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial and versatile Solutions Consultant for the UK Sales organisation to help develop the Intelligent Automation proposition for major accounts in the UK Public Sector region. You will have Solutions Consulting experience working with account sales professionals successfully selling into public sector organisations, with an emphasis on the National Health Service (NHS), Policing and Local Government.

What You Will Get To Do:

  • Working in collaboration with the Sales Account Executives and Directors to define, develop and close sales opportunities in public sector accounts.
  • Working with the SS&C Blue Prism partners (System Integrators, Channel and Boutique) to enable and enthuse them to become accredited individuals and certified organisations and drive sales through these third parties.
  • Discussions with prospects at senior and technical levels and can explain/present how SS&C Blue Prism solutions can help solve the customer’s business issues.
  • Running Proof of Concepts/Confidence/Value to make customer comfortable with the benefits provided by the outcome of the solutions – agentic or deterministic.
  • Creating collateral – PowerPoints, whitepapers, etc on these solutions, as well as presenting in front of partners and customer audiences.
  • Defining, and helping to create or at least project manage the creation of end-to-end business solution demos for the public sector market.
  • Understanding the SS&C Blue Prism products in enough depth to answer technical questions and provide product demos if necessary.
  • Maintaining/building knowledge in the UK Healthcare market, the Policing market and on Local Government and important market trends in those markets and being the company’s presales spokesman on those market issues.
  • Researching and understanding the existing customer use cases and being able to articulate/present a select few of these use cases at a greater depth than the Sales Account Executives and Partner Directors.

What You Will Bring:

  • Pre-Sales and/or Solution Consulting experience as well as building and supporting direct and indirect channel strategies.
  • Experience in selling to the following industries (in order of preference): Healthcare, Policing, Local Government, Central Government, other blue light services.
  • Passion for Agents and AI Technologies and how they can be exploited using SS&C Blue Prism.
  • Collaborative mindset with colleagues / partners / customers.
  • Investigative imagination, thorough methodical and research oriented.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills – both written and verbal.
  • Proven track-record as a top-performing individual.
  • Confident individual willing to defend and articulate business imperatives according to a strategic view.
  • Proven ability to learn new technology and product capabilities.
  • Working with Product Team to advise and bring solutions to market seamlessly and with agility.
  • Good stakeholder management skills – ability to work collaboratively in a fast moving and complex environment.
  • Strong commercial aptitude – sales discipline, qualification principles, sales process & methodology.
  • A proven history of Enterprise software sales to blue chip companies.
  • Meaningful sales experience in selling with and through global Systems Integrators.
  • A strong appreciation of Enterprise software values and associated buyer behaviour.
