With over 27,000 employees worldwide, we support financial services and healthcare organizations. We are looking for a Consultant to support our Geneva enterprise portfolio accounting application.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality consulting services as part of implementation projects; build strong relationships with clients and internal teams to drive client satisfaction and continuous improvement.
- Execute implementation tasks and communicate project status with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements, design and configure products, automate and optimize workflows.
- Prepare system and data transition plans, and complete migration involving historical data take‑on.
- Lead hands‑on training sessions, troubleshoot issues, provide technical support during go‑live events.
- Work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to travel and adapt to changing work hours.
- Learn quickly by gathering information from a variety of sources and present knowledge to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related science (e.g., Mathematics, Computer Science).
- 6+ years of client experience in the financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of investment management, fund accounting, and asset management.
- Solid working knowledge of client back‑office workflow and operations.
- Expertise with the general ledger, fund accounting, and trial balance.
- Working knowledge of SS&C Advent’s Geneva or similar applications.
- Excellent communication, project, and client‑management skills.
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Detail‑oriented, positive attitude, and proactivity.
Desired Characteristics
- Postgraduate degree preferred.
- Experience with buy‑side/sell‑side traders or trading operations.
- Technical skills (IT, databases, reporting tools).
- SQL skills and knowledge of FIX protocols (4.0, 4.2, 4.4).
