About The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Mentor Manager to support both SSAFA beneficiaries and our network of volunteer mentors.
This home‑based role requires extensive travel throughout the North Region of England, with an expectation to attend Catterick on a weekly basis.
Responsibilities
- Act as the operational point of contact for your area of responsibility.
- Manage and record the work of volunteer mentors.
- Conduct specialist needs assessments for potential beneficiaries.
- Monitor, support, and review mentoring relationships through regular engagement with volunteers.
- Brief, present to, and coordinate the involvement of key stakeholders across your area of responsibility.
Qualifications
- Experience managing a large geographic area.
- Excellent communication and IT skills, including strong proficiency in MS Office 365 and database systems.
- Experience in volunteer management, willingness to learn, and a genuine passion for making a difference.
- Understanding of the Armed Forces and ex‑Forces community would be beneficial.
