About the Role: My client is seeking a Document Controller to join their growing project team. Playing a vital role in managing and maintaining all project documentation, ensuring accurate control of drawings, correspondence, and technical information. Working closely with project managers, site teams, and design consultants, you will support the smooth flow of information throughout all stages of construction projects.
About the Responsibilities:
- Manage, distribute, and maintain accurate records of all project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and correspondence.
- Set up and maintain document control systems (e.g., Procore, Fieldview, or similar platforms).
- Ensure all documents are correctly filed, version-controlled, and issued to the relevant parties in a timely manner.
- Liaise with internal teams, consultants, and subcontractors to track document status and ensure compliance with project standards.
- Support site and project teams with administrative tasks, including compiling reports, updating registers, and assisting with H&S documentation.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of handover documentation and O&M manuals.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all record-keeping and document handling.
About the Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within construction.
- Hold a full clean UK driving License.
