Our client are a leading civil engineering and construction company that deliver high quality projects all across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Site Engineer to join their team in the East Midlands, with most of the projects being based in and around Nottingham. You will report directly to the contracts manager but will have the support and guidance of the wider team. Role and Responsibilities: * All aspects of earthworks, drainage, foundations and substructure works * Plan, schedule and manage subcontractor operations. * Accurately quantify materials and be able to order materials. * Keep on site progress up to date and ensure programme deadlines are met. * Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and subcontractors * Ensure Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety aspects of work are adhered to on site. * Continually developing your knowledge and implementing best practice guidance to line managers and relevant team members. * Maintain Integrated Management System (IMS) Experience: * Must be able to use own initiative * A degree/qualification in construction engineering or equivilant * 3+ years experience as a site engineer * Residential/Commercial experience desired * Ability to use AutoCad and Total Station * IT Skills including MS Office, Word and Excel. * Full UK Driving license
