About the role
My client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage steel fabrication projects from planning through production and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage full project lifecycle including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and delivery
- Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and fabrication requirements
- Coordinate across engineering, procurement, workshop, and site teams
- Monitor fabrication progress and resolve technical or production issues
- Manage suppliers, subcontractors, and material logistics
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and industry standards
- Track costs, manage risks, and maintain project profitability
- Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders and clients
- Lead and supervise fabrication teams, project staff, and coordinators
- Allocate resources effectively and ensure team productivity
- Mentor and develop team members, promoting skills growth and performance
- Foster a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to procedures
