SSA are currently seeking Senior Project Engineers in London to work with one of our leading Tier 2 M&E clients, specializing in residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are engineered to specifications and delivered within planned costs.
- You will work closely with the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to manage any re-engineering or variations in accordance with company processes.
- Develop installation drawings and implement best practices to ensure effective project delivery.
- Identify labor and material requirements, ensuring cost-effective use and regularly reviewing to optimize productivity and minimize costs.
- Ensure that design and installation meet internal and client specifications, as well as statutory requirements.
- Provide leadership to the delivery team, aligning with company procedures and values, and fostering team development.
- Contribute to the preparation of project cost plans and budgets, aiming to maximize profits within contract parameters.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients through effective delivery, aiming to optimize future opportunities and profitability.
The Ideal Candidate
- Building Services Degree or equivalent.
- IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Senior Project Engineer within the MEP industry, with exposure to large-scale projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary is highly DOE and ranges from £40,000 to £70,000.
