Senior Project Engineer – London
SSA are currently seeking Senior Project Engineers in London to work with one of our leading Tier 2 M&E clients, specializing in residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are engineered to specifications and delivered within planned costs. You will work closely with the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to manage any re-engineering or variations in accordance with company processes.
- Develop installation drawings and implement best practices to ensure effective project delivery.
- Identify labor and material requirements, ensuring cost-effective use and regularly reviewing to optimize productivity and minimize costs.
- Ensure that design and installation meet internal and client specifications, as well as statutory requirements.
- Provide leadership to the delivery team, aligning with company procedures and values, and fostering team development.
- Contribute to the preparation of project cost plans and budgets, aiming to maximize profits within contract parameters.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients through effective delivery, aiming to optimize future opportunities and profitability.
The Ideal Candidate
- Building Services Degree or equivalent.
- IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Senior Project Engineer within the MEP industry, with exposure to large-scale projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary is highly DOE and ranges from £40,000 to £70,000.
