Senior Quantity Surveyor - M&E SSA are currently recruiting for a leading Mechanical & Electrical contractor who are looking to add a Senior Quantity Surveyor to their team to work across a number of CATA, CATB, & Shell & Core projects valued between £5m-£25m. They are looking for someone to come in and manage their own projects who has the ambition to move into a Managing Quantity Surveyor within a short space of time. Duties may include: * Collaborate with colleagues while building your understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. * Take responsibility for allocated work packages and deliver tasks to a professional standard. * Use drawings and isometrics to prepare detailed, priced bills of quantities covering labour and materials. * Monitor project expenditure, labour hours, and progress against earned-value measures. * Produce comprehensive construction take-offs and cost plans, reviewing cost and labour efficiency throughout delivery. * Present take-offs clearly and in accordance with NRM2 requirements. * Prepare and submit accurate monthly CCS reports, valuations, and certification. Requirements: * Relevant Quantity Surveying degrees * Commercial understanding * Detailed knowledge of the Quantity Surveying role * Ability to work in a team * Enthusiastic can-do attitude * honest and reliable character
