Senior Civil Engineer (Power & Renewables) * Leading Power & Renewables contractor * Long-term Power & Renewable Energy projects for Scottish Power & SSEN * Substations, HV Cabling, BESS, Solar PV, Windfarms SSA are currently recuriting for a leading Power & Renewable Energy contractor who are looking to add a Senior Civil Engineer to their team to look after civil engineering and infrastructure design deliverables for their projects which can include schemes up to 400kV from substations, HV cabling, battery energy storage systems, windfarms and solar PV projects. You would be required to support, manage and coordinate on a range of Civil Engineering works from tender through project delivery and post-construction; with duties include: * Reviewing tender documentation * Preparing & assessing detailed designs (earthworks, drainage, access roads, structural works, compound layouts) * Design management of civil engineering consultants * Managing interfaces with client and other stakeholders * Provide ongoing civil engineering support & oversight during the construction of projects * Review As-built record drawings to ensure civil works has been recorded correctly They can offer a strong salary & package, the opportunity for further training & progression, and a strong pipeline of work in the region across the next 5-8 years
