Project Commissioning Manager – Quality and Commissioning
SSA are recruiting an experienced Project Commissioning Manager to oversee the commissioning process across projects both commercially and domestically. The role reports to the Q&C Manager and the Managing Director and requires the candidate to take full responsibility for managing all M&E commissioning activities on projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage specialist subcontractors
- Consistently report and record attendance at meetings, utilizing strong computer skills
- Interact with clients and other representatives professionally, maintaining good ethics
- Review and approve concise commissioning method statements
- Supervise on-site testing and report results
- Advise on the quality of M&E installations during the installation phase
- Coordinate with utility companies
- Manage water treatment processes
- Supervise and advise on the design of services related to the specific discipline
- Maintain positive relationships among staff and professional team members, including line managers
- Manage trade contractors\’ obligations to commission and deliver specific services within scope of work
The Ideal Candidate:
- Must hold an industry-recognized qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering/Installation
- At least 3 years\’ experience as a commissioning manager is desirable
- Experience in commissioning domestic and commercial systems
- Project management experience
- Strong ability to track progress of fixes against time and cost benefits
- Flexible with excellent team working skills
- Proficient in computer software, specifically Microsoft Excel and Outlook
