SSA are recruiting on behalf of a leading multi-disciplinary construction and engineering organisation, comprising specialist divisions across demolition, civil engineering, remediation, environmental services, plant hire, and structural works. They are known for delivering complex projects safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor with a strong background in Demolition and RC frame construction to support major projects across London and the South East. You will work closely with site teams and senior management to ensure best-in-class safety performance across all operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day H&S support to RC frame and structural works projects
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and UK legislation
  • Deliver toolbox talks, briefings, and training
  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
  • Support project teams in developing safe systems of work
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Health & Safety Advisor on RC frame or structural concrete projects
  • NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and best practice
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • CSCS card (appropriate level)
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
