A well-established, leading main contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality construction, façade, and cladding remediation projects across the UK. Operating across multiple specialist divisions, the business delivers complex, large-scale projects including fire remediation, external façade replacement, and refurbishment works, typically ranging from £3m–£30m. With a strong focus on quality, safety, and sustainability, the company provides full design and build solutions and is recognised for delivering projects from inception through to completion across residential, commercial, and public sector schemes.
Due to continued growth, an experienced Health & Safety Advisor is required to support cladding remediation projects across Central London. You will play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture and ensuring compliance across multiple live sites, working closely with site teams, subcontractors, and senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day H&S support across cladding remediation projects
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Review and advise on RAMS and safe systems of work
- Ensure compliance with UK H&S legislation and CDM Regulations
- Support incident investigations and reporting
- Engage with site teams to drive best practice and continuous improvement
- Monitor high-risk activities including working at height and façade works
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Health & Safety role
- Proven experience within cladding remediation, façades, or external envelope works
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
- IOSH Chartered (CMIOSH) or Certified (CertIOSH)
- Strong working knowledge of construction H&S legislation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Full UK driving licence
