About the client

I’m currently working with a growing and well-established groundworks and civil engineering contractor operating across the UK, delivering projects within the residential and infrastructure sectors. They are looking to bring on a Health & Safety Advisor to support their continued growth and maintain high safety standards across their sites.

About The Role

• Promote a strong Health & Safety culture across all sites, aligned with a Zero Harm approach
• Ensure compliance with H&S policies, procedures, and relevant legislation
• Carry out site audits, inspections, and safety tours
• Manage reporting including incidents, KPIs, and audit findings
• Deliver toolbox talks, briefings, and support site teams
• Monitor performance, maintain systems, and support continuous improvement

Skills and Attributes

• NEBOSH General/ Construction
• Previous experience within the construction industry (not essential)
• Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
• Drive company ethos and standards as required
• Build relationships with clients and internal departments
• Full UK Driving License essential
