SSA are currently working with a leading M&E company to find a Junior MEP Revit/BIM Technician. The role is located in Central London and will require the candidate to be capable of travelling here every day initially working on a specific project developing Stage 4C/5 Drawings.
Day to day tasks for the candidate will consist of:
- Assist in creating and modifying Revit MEP models for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Work closely with engineers and senior technicians to produce accurate and detailed drawings.
- Ensure models and drawings adhere to company and industry standards.
- Assist with clash detection, coordination, and integration of MEP services within multidisciplinary projects.
- Maintain and update project documentation in compliance with BIM protocols.
- Support the implementation of BIM workflows and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic Revit-related issues.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure efficient design coordination.
Ideal candidate:
- Education: Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
- Software Skills: Basic to intermediate proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP (AutoCAD and Navisworks experience is a plus).
- Understanding of MEP systems and willingness to develop expertise in this area.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
