HSEQ Manager – M&E SSA are recruiting an HSEQ Manager on behalf of a specialist Mechanical & Electrical contractor. You will oversee health, safety, environmental and quality standards across projects, supporting site teams and driving continuous improvement. About the client Our client is a specialist Mechanical & Electrical contractor delivering technically demanding construction projects. This position offers the opportunity to influence standards across the business, work closely with senior management and make a visible impact on site safety, environmental performance and quality. Key responsibilities * Manage and develop HSEQ policies, procedures and management systems. * Carry out site inspections and audits, ensuring corrective actions are completed. * Review risk assessments and method statements, supporting safe working practices. * Investigate incidents and near misses, identifying causes and preventative measures. * Deliver HSEQ training and guidance to project teams and subcontractors. * Monitor HSEQ performance, reporting findings and recommendations to senior management. Requirements * Ideally five years’ relevant HSEQ experience within M&E contracting or construction, including experience in a management or lead role. * NEBOSH qualification or equivalent relevant health and safety qualification. * Strong knowledge of construction health and safety legislation. * Experience conducting audits, investigating incidents and reviewing RAMS. * Knowledge of environmental and quality management systems. * Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills
