About the Role
Our client are seeking a proactive and experienced HSQE Advisor to join their UK Health, Safety, Quality & Environment team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture across rail projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver practical health & safety advice, support and coaching to site and project teams
- Identify opportunities for improvement, driving safer ways of working and sharing best practice
- Carry out site inspections, audits and safety tours to ensure compliance with legal and company requirements
- Support wellbeing initiatives and encourage positive, proactive safety behaviours
- Work closely with operational teams to maintain and continuously improve H&S performance
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential)
- Tech IOSH membership or higher
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A collaborative, solutions-focused approach
- A valid PTS card (preferred – training can be provided)
- Experience within rail or construction environments (desirable)
