About the Company

Our client is a leading construction and engineering contractor delivering complex projects across the UK within the Data Centre, Logistics, Pharmaceutical, Food Manufacturing and Advanced Manufacturing sectors. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects across the South of England, they are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to join their team.

The Role

The EHS Manager will play a key role in promoting and maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and environmental performance across multiple construction projects. Working closely with operational teams, subcontractors and senior management, you will drive a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and company procedures. This is a site-based role requiring regular travel across projects throughout the South of England, therefore a full UK driving licence is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and continual improvement of the company’s Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits and compliance reviews across multiple projects.
  • Provide expert advice and support to Project Managers, Site Managers and operational teams.
  • Review and approve Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
