About the Role Our client are currently seeking a Junior EHS Advisor to join the project team on a major data centre project in Didcot, Oxfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior or early-career H&S professional looking to develop their practical site experience and build a career within the construction and data centre sectors. Working alongside the wider EHS and site management teams, you will support the implementation of health and safety procedures, site inspections, audits and day-to-day EHS activities across the project. Key Responsibilities * Support the EHS team with the day-to-day management of health and safety on site. * Assist with regular site inspections, safety walks and audits. * Support the review of RAMS, method statements and safe systems of work. * Assist with accident, incident and near-miss investigations. * Help monitor subcontractor compliance with project EHS requirements. * Support the delivery of site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings. * Assist with identifying hazards and ensuring appropriate corrective actions are followed up. * Maintain accurate EHS records, reports and documentation. * Support the implementation of the project EHS management system. * Help ensure compliance with relevant UK H&S legislation and company procedures. * Work closely with Site Managers, Supervisors, subcontractors and the wider EHS team. * Promote a positive and proactive health and safety culture across the project. * Take the opportunity to develop practical experience across a large-scale data centre project. Requirements * NEBOSH General, Construction or equivalent qualification (or working towards). * Some previous construction/site experience is desirable. * Strong interest in developing a career within Health & Safety/EHS. * Good understanding of basic UK H&S principles. * Good communication and organisational skills. * Proactive approach with a willingness to learn. * Ability to work effectively as part of a wider project team. * CSCS or willingness to obtain
