Overview
In this role you will lead a groundworks and RC frames project from planning through delivery, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and quality outcomes. You’ll collaborate with engineering, procurement, workshop, and site teams to steer the full lifecycle and maintain profitability. You will drive safety culture, coordinate stakeholders, and mentor the project team, shaping successful delivery for a specialist contractor. This position offers impact through hands-on leadership of complex, multi-site construction efforts.
Responsibilities
- Manage full project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and delivery
- Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and fabrication requirements
- Coordinate across engineering, procurement, workshop, and site teams
- Manage suppliers, subcontractors, and material logistics
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and industry standards
- Track costs, manage risks, and maintain project profitability
- Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders and clients
- Lead and supervise fabrication teams, project staff, and coordinators
- Allocate resources effectively and ensure team productivity
- Mentor and develop team members, promoting skills growth and performance
- Foster a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to procedures
- Drive accountability, performance standards, and continuous improvement
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders
