With a strong pipeline of projects for blue-chip clients and developers, they're looking to strengthen their commercial team with an experienced QS.The RoleTake commercial ownership of fit-out projects from post-contract award through to final accountPrepare monthly valuations, applications for payment, and cost/value reconciliations (CVRs)Procure and negotiate with specialist subcontractors and suppliers across M&E, joinery, partitioning, flooring, and finishes packagesMeasure and price variations, managing the change control process with clients and design teamsPrepare and agree final accounts, protecting commercial position throughoutIdentify and manage commercial risk, reporting to the Commercial Manager/DirectorBuild strong working relationships with clients, main contractors, and design teamsSupport pre-construction with cost planning and tender adjudication where requiredAttend site and client progress meetings, ensuring commercial and operational alignmentAbout YouProven QS experience within commercial fit-out (Cat A/Cat B office, workplace, or similar)Strong understanding of JCT and/or NEC forms of contractConfident managing final accounts and commercial risk on fast-paced, design-led projectsExperience working directly with clients and design teams on London-based schemesExcellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skillsDegree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (or equivalent industry experience)What's on OfferCompetitive salary + car/car allowancePension, private healthcare, and additional benefits packageGenuine progression opportunities within a growing fit-out contractorStrong, secured project pipeline across LondonTo Apply Please contact Luke at SSA Group — luke@ssaltd.com / +44 7584 221 679
