Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are seeking a M&E Manager to join their team in Stratford.
The successful candidate will manage the successful delivery of MEP work packages from pre-construction through installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
This position will work closely with project leadership, commercial, design, planning and supply-chain stakeholders, providing clear ownership of the role's key deliverables and helping the wider team achieve programme, quality, safety and financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage MEP project delivery from pre-construction and procurement through installation, commissioning and handover.
- Develop and maintain delivery programmes, short-term plans and procurement schedules.
- Coordinate design information, technical submittals, RFIs and builder's-work requirements.
- Manage subcontractors, supervisors and direct labour, setting clear expectations for safety, quality and productivity.
- Monitor progress, cost, risk and change, escalating issues and agreeing recovery actions.
- Lead client, consultant and subcontractor meetings and maintain clear action tracking.
- Ensure materials, plant and specialist resources are procured in line with programme requirements.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging, O&M information and practical completion.
- Work closely with commercial colleagues to support valuations, variations and financial performance.
- Candidate Profile
- Proven experience managing MEP packages on construction or engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of design coordination, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning.
- Confident leading subcontractors and communicating with clients, consultants and project teams.
- Relevant technical qualification or trade background, supported by strong site-delivery experience.

- Good understanding of construction health and safety, quality assurance and project controls.
- Ability to work effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to travel to and work from the Stratford location as required.
