Client: SSA are recruiting on behalf of a well-established RC Frame and Structural Concrete contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects across London and the South East.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint a Junior Health & Safety Advisor to support their HSEQ team across multiple projects in Central London.

About the

Role: This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Health & Safety professional looking to develop their career within the RC Frame sector.

Working alongside experienced Health & Safety professionals and operational teams, you'll gain exposure to a variety of high-profile projects while supporting the delivery of best practice across multiple live sites in Central London.

The successful candidate will be eager to learn, proactive in their approach, and keen to build a long-term career within construction Health & Safety.

About the

Responsibilities: Assist with carrying out regular Health & Safety inspections and audits across live construction sites.

Support site teams with Health & Safety compliance and company procedures.

Monitor site activities and identify potential hazards, reporting findings where necessary.

Assist with reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).

Support accident, incident and near-miss investigations.

Deliver site inductions and assist with toolbox talks and Health & Safety briefings.

Help monitor subcontractor compliance and safe systems of work.

Produce inspection reports and maintain Health & Safety documentation.

Promote a positive Health & Safety culture across all projects.

Ensure compliance with the Health & Safety at Work Act, CDM Regulations and company policies.

About the

Requirements: Previous experience within construction Health & Safety or a site-based construction role.

Previous RC Frame experience is highly desirable.

NEBOSH General Certificate (or working towards/completed).

Good understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation and CDM 2015.

Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with site teams.

Eagerness to learn and develop within a Health & Safety career.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Full UK Driving Licence.
