About the Client

Our client is a leading M&E contractor delivering a major long-term commercial scheme in Canary Wharf. They are looking for an Electrical Contracts Manager to lead electrical delivery on the project.

About the Role

You will manage electrical packages from design coordination and procurement through installation, testing and handover, ensuring programme, quality, commercial and health and safety requirements are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of electrical packages on a major project
  • Manage site teams, subcontractors, labour and suppliers
  • Coordinate programme, procurement and technical requirements
  • Review drawings, specifications and technical submissions
  • Lead client, progress and coordination meetings
  • Manage RFIs, design changes, variations and project risks
  • Monitor quality, productivity and health and safety performance
  • Coordinate testing, commissioning and project handover
  • Provide accurate progress reports to senior management

Skills and Experience

  • Proven electrical contracts or project management experience
  • Strong knowledge of electrical building services installations
  • Experience delivering major commercial or similarly complex projects
  • Ability to manage programme, teams and subcontractors
