The Company we represent has been an established name in the industry for over 25 years, currently turning over £50m. They are a privately owned specialist subcontractor with expertise in Demolition and Cut & Carve packages up to £30m. They operate mainly in the South East of England, predominantly London based.
About the Role:
The client is seeking to take on degree qualified, highly driven and determined Quantity Surveyors of all levels with knowledge and experience working within large specialist Demolition, piling, Groundworks, Ground engineering, and RC frame packages. Our client wants someone who can manage packages from £1m to £10m, from front end through to final accounts with minimal hassle, liaising accordingly in a professional manner with clients that have been with them for over 20 years, as well as on site with operational staff.
About the Duties:
- Financial cost control of current contracts
- Financial reporting of current contracts
- Improving financial return of current contracts
- Delegation and mentoring junior staff
- Cost Control of building contracts
- Cost advice to Contracts Managers
- Purchasing and negotiating Sub Contract orders
- Paying and monitoring Subcontractor progress
- Cost reporting and forecasting out turn costs
- Client Liaison and Value forecasting for Client Team
- Maximise monthly cash flows
- Maximising contract Value
- Maximising profit
- Monitoring progress of purchasing of Sub Contract orders
- Managing small teams
- Mentoring and training small teams

About the Requirements:
- Ideally degree qualified
- 10+ years experience within Demolition, Cut & Carve and/or groundworks & RC Frame packages
- Proven track record of managing teams/business units
