About the Client
Our client is an established construction business delivering projects across multiple sectors and locations. They are looking for a Building Services Manager to coordinate mechanical and electrical services from design through to completion.
About the Role
You will manage building services design, installation, commissioning and handover, working closely with project teams, consultants and specialist subcontractors to achieve programme, quality and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical and electrical services across assigned projects
- Coordinate design information, technical submissions and programme requirements
- Manage M&E subcontractors and specialist suppliers
- Review drawings and identify coordination or buildability issues
- Chair building services and coordination meetings
- Monitor installation quality, progress and compliance
- Manage technical queries, RFIs and design changes
- Coordinate testing, commissioning and handover
- Ensure building services works meet health and safety and quality standards
Skills and Experience
- Building Services Management experience within construction
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience managing specialist subcontractors
- Ability to coordinate design, installation and commissioning
- Strong planning, leadership and communication skills
- Willingness to work across different project locations
