My client is a well-established and highly regarded M&E Design Consultancy that is currently seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join their Belfast office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer looking to further develop their expertise in electrical building services design, technical coordination, and project delivery within a collaborative and supportive environment.

The successful candidate will join a busy and experienced team delivering design, project management, and construction supervision services across a diverse range of projects within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, commercial, and other sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver detailed electrical designs throughout all stages of the project lifecycle
  • Produce schematic drawings and coordinated layouts using 2D Auto CAD and/or Revit for 3D modelling
  • Prepare technical specifications, schedules, and data sheets
  • Carry out site surveys and inspections
  • Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and technical reports
  • Support the development of contract documentation
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards
  • Provide general design and project support as required

Requirements

  • Third-level qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years' relevant industry experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
