About the Client

Our client is an established M&E contractor delivering mechanical building services packages across the South East. Due to a strong project pipeline, they are looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to join the business.

About the Role

You will take responsibility for the delivery of mechanical projects from pre-construction through to completion, coordinating programme, procurement, labour, commercial performance and client communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage mechanical projects from mobilisation through to handover
  • Plan labour, procurement and subcontractor requirements
  • Monitor programme, progress, cost and quality
  • Review mechanical drawings, specifications and technical submissions
  • Lead project, coordination and client meetings
  • Manage technical queries, variations and design changes
  • Coordinate testing, commissioning and handover
  • Maintain accurate project reporting and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety and quality standards

Skills and Experience

  • Previous mechanical project management experience
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, pipework and mechanical building services
  • Ability to manage programmes, subcontractors and project documentation
