We are seeking a talented and versatile Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. A Graphic Designer creates visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate audiences. They use both hand‑drawn and digital design techniques to develop layouts and designs for various media, including print, web, and mobile.
Key Responsibilities:- Design Focus: create visually appealing graphics for digital and print media, including websites, social media, marketing materials, and advertisements tailored to the technological industry.
- Utilise tools like Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effects to produce high‑quality visual content.
- Design user‑friendly web elements to enhance the customer experience while maintaining brand consistency.
- Incorporate photography and digital elements into designs to elevate visual impact.
- Stay updated on design trends and best practices, incorporating them into creative projects.
- Coordinate and monitor Multimedia operations, ensuring timely design, advertising, and seamless workflow across departments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing campaigns and Multimedia processes for greater operational efficiency.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, ensuring alignment on timelines and project priorities.
- Manage documentation, schedules, and inventory tracking to support smooth Graphic and Multimedia operations.
- Work with the central marketing team to ensure digital communications have a consistent look and feel with other customer touchpoints.
- Ensure all designed digital‑based communications follow the multichannel seasonal concepts and are consistent with the brand guidelines.
- Receive briefs from the internal marketing department and agree on achievable deadlines.
- Manage workload and prioritise briefs in line with agreed critical path, communicating any potential slippage.
- Ensure designs meet the brief prior to handover for sign‑off.
- Progress to final design following amends and handover in agreed format or implement online where appropriate.
- Progress build of HTML emails as and when required.
- Provide support and cover for other design colleagues.
- Keep up to date with new technology, software, and systems.
- Demonstrable experience in web design, preferably in a branded retail fashion arena.
- Knowledge and proficient use of Creative Suite CS5 – Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Illustrator.
- Ability to build responsive HTML emails from conception to completion.
- Creative flair, demonstrable through an extensive portfolio.
- Enthusiastic and highly motivated.
- Experience of dealing with competing priorities and able to multi‑task.
- Proven experience in graphic design and/or Multi Media coordination, with a strong portfolio showcasing design skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effects, with basic familiarity in web design and prototyping tools.
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Understanding of Graphic Design and Multi Media operations, including inventory management, scheduling, or delivery coordination is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a keen eye for detail and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment.
