Employee Referral Scheme for potential bonuses. Discretionary Bonus Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety and Fire Risk Assessor to join our expanding Risk team. The role involves conducting site-based risk assessments on clients portfolios, covering internal and external common parts. Our clients are primarily Residential Property Managers overseeing purpose-built residential developments across the UK. Key responsibilities and tasks include: Conducting Fire and General H&S Risk Assessments according to best industry practices. Producing accurate, timely risk assessments with clear instructions for required works. Liaising with clients to ensure understanding, compliance, and timely resolution of fire-related issues. Assisting clients in creating remedial work schedules if necessary. Attending client meetings when needed. Peer review and validation of works. Providing technical advice aligned with The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and relevant H&S legislation. Achieving all set KPI targets. Key skills and qualifications: NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety or equivalent (Level 3) (Essential) NEBOSH General Certificate if Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent (Level 3) (Essential) FPA Level 4 in Fire Risk Assessment or equivalent (Desirable but not essential) A full clean driving licence and willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays. Strong knowledge of fire safety and H&S legislation, technical standards, and industry best practices. Proven experience in conducting Fire and H&S Risk Assessments. Professional qualifications in fire safety and risk assessments (e.g., Fire Protection Association, Institute of Fire Engineers, Institute of Fire Safety Managers, NEBOSH). Professional qualifications in Health & Safety management and risk assessments (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH). Competence to carry out Fire Risk Assessments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work autonomously. Understanding of British Standards related to fire and life safety systems and H&S. Ability to build and maintain professional relationships both internally and externally.
