We are seeking a Residential Surveyor (AssocRICS or MRICS) to join our Survey and Professional Services team, delivering high-quality valuation and professional survey work for major UK lenders and private clients. This home-based role offers centrally managed diaries and dedicated administrative support, allowing you to focus on inspections, report quality and professional judgement while maintaining a genuine work-life balance.
You will undertake lender valuations, Red Book valuations for probate, taxation and matrimonial purposes and, where appropriate, Homebuyer Reports and Building Surveys, supported by realistic workloads that allow you to focus on quality rather than volume. ROLE EXPECTATIONS
- Undertake valuation and survey work in accordance with lender and RICS standards
- Deliver accurate, robust reports within agreed SLAs
- Follow specific lender guidance and Red Book requirements
- Maintain CPD in line with RICS regulatory obligations
- Keep up to date with market and regulatory developments
- Adhere to Quality Assurance, Health & Safety and internal compliance procedures
You will build trusted relationships with lenders and private clients through consistent technical excellence and professional service.

HOW YOULL SPEND MOST OF YOUR TIME
Most weeks, youll be:
- Attending pre-booked inspections across your patch
- Undertaking lender valuations in line with panel requirements
- Completing Red Book valuations for probate, taxation and matrimonial purposes
- Preparing Homebuyer Reports and Building Surveys where required
- Delivering reports within SLA and compliance standards
- Developing competencies aligned to MRICS progression
Supported by centrally coordinated diaries and dedicated administrative support, you'll spend more time surveying and less time managing administration.
