About The Team:

The Human Resources Department plays a key role in supporting staff and managers across SRUC. Our aim is to provide professional, responsive, and practical advice on all employment-related matters

HR supports colleagues throughout the employee life-cycle, from recruitment and on-boarding to career development and leaving employment. The team offers guidance on a wide range of employment matters, including recruitment and selection, promotions, performance and appraisal processes, terms and conditions of employment, contracts, policies, and employee relations.

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, the post holder will have operational responsibility for the delivery of HR services across the full employee life-cycle within their aligned Division. Working closely with Divisional Directors and Management Teams, they will influence business strategy, support its implementation, and develop and deliver People Plans that align with organisational objectives.

The role will promote a high-performance culture by identifying and developing talent, enhancing employee engagement, supporting workforce planning, and fostering an environment where individuals are motivated, recognised, and empowered to innovate and excel.

As a trusted HR Business Partner, the post holder will build strong stakeholder relationships, provide expert people advice and guidance, and lead the delivery of HR initiatives that drive organisational performance and continuous improvement. The role will also include line management responsibility for an HR Adviser, ensuring the provision of a responsive, customer-focused HR service.

This is a fixed term contract until 30 September 2027.

Minimum Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should be educated to SCQF Level 9 or above.
