We strive to make SRT a rewarding and challenging place to work, where talented, hard-working individuals have the opportunity to make a real impact across the marine industry.

The role of ERP Business Change Project Manager is an extremely "hands-on" position where you will ensure SRT's Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central roadmap and backlog are robustly managed, and that the changes delivered are embedded in how the business works. The programme covers Procurement / P2P, Finance, Inventory and Warehouse, and Projects / Jobs including planning lines. It is delivered first to our Systems business, with a wider SRT rollout to follow. Changes are built by SRT's in-house BC developer and an external Microsoft partner. The role keeps a single view of work across both sources and manages the business change around each release.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities (not exhaustive)

  • Consolidate the current, partial and scattered backlog into a single controlled backlog and roadmap, covering all four process areas and both delivery sources (in-house and partner).
  • Maintain the backlog: capture, define and size each item, keep it current, and record a clear business owner and acceptance criteria for every item.
  • Prepare prioritisation recommendations for the Head of Systems Procurement, with the evidence needed to decide, and record the decisions made.
  • Maintain the roadmap and release plan, and flag dependencies, conflicts and slippage early.
  • Coordinate delivery between the in-house BC developer and the Microsoft partner so that each item has one owner and no work is duplicated.
  • Track partner delivery and effort against the agreed plan, and report variances to the Head of Systems Procurement.
  • Coordinate business testing (UAT) and sign-off before each release goes live.
  • Produce and maintain process documentation and SOPs for every change delivered.
  • Design and deliver user training for each affected user group.
  • Plan and run communications and stakeholder engagement across Procurement, Finance, PMO, Engineering and Warehouse.
  • Define how embedding will be evidenced for each release, with the Senior Supply Chain Coordinator measuring it day to day.
  • Prepare a handover of the backlog, roadmap and change approach to the Head of Systems Procurement by the end of the contract.
  • Produce the plan for rolling the changes out beyond the Systems business.

You will also attend SRT UK sites to roll out the delivery; and carry out workshops with colleagues to ensure all are confident in the usability of the system.

Experience & Qualifications

  • ESSENTIAL: Experience delivering business change on an ERP implementation or enhancement programme (any ERP).
  • Demonstrable experience managing a product or project backlog and roadmap: refinement, dependency management and release planning.
  • Experience producing process documentation and SOPs, and designing and delivering user training.
  • Experience coordinating delivery across internal developers and an external implementation partner.
  • Able to engage stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, Operations and Engineering without line or budget authority.
  • Desirable: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience would be highly advantageous.
  • Exposure to P2P, inventory and warehouse, or project-based processes.
  • Project management qualification (PRINCE2 or Agile PM).
  • Change management qualification (APMG Change Management or Prosci).
  • Business analysis qualification (BCS).

Terms, Location and Travel

  • The contract is a 6-month fixed term - immediate start available.
  • The role is a remote working role; but site visits are expected weekly, with more time on site around go-lives and training, these will be at SRT's UK locations of Bristol, Midsomer Norton and Cardiff.
