We strive to make SRT a rewarding and challenging place to work where talented hard-working individuals have the opportunity to make a real impact across the marine world.\n \nThe Product Compliance Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and tracking product compliance and verification testing activities to ensure products meet regulatory, industry, customer, and company requirements.\n \nThe role acts as the central point of contact between engineering teams, external test laboratories, certification bodies, quality departments, and project stakeholders. The Product Compliance Coordinator ensures that compliance testing is completed on schedule, documentation is maintained, and certification activities are delivered efficiently.\n \nFor marine electronic products, including AIS transceivers, the role involves organising regulatory approvals, type approval testing, environmental qualification, EMC testing, and ongoing compliance maintenance.\n \nThe role of Product Compliance Coordinator is primarily based from our Bristol office, but you must be willing to travel to our offices in Midsomer Norton until Qtr2 2027, the role has good flexibility for Hybrid working.\n \nResponsibilities - Product Compliance Coordinator - not exhaustive:\n \nCompliance Coordination\n \n \n Coordinate product certification and compliance activities from development through to product release within the project timelines \n Prepare and Maintain compliance schedules and certification plans \n Monitor progress of regulatory testing activities \n Liaise with certification bodies, notified bodies, and test laboratories \n \n \nTest Planning & Management\n \n \n Schedule laboratory testing and product evaluations \n Arrange quotations for testing activities, obtain best pricing, and raise purchase orders \n Coordinate EMC, environmental, RF, safety, and performance testing \n Prepare test samples, supporting equipment, and documentation and track test progress to then communicate status updates to stakeholders \n Maintain records of test results and any/all corrective actions \n \n \nSite & Field Test Support\n \n \n Travel to customers, suppliers, and test sites to support product testing and certification activities, as required by the business \n Coordinate equipment, test documentation, and resources required for site testing activities and assist engineers with the setup, execution, and monitoring of laboratory and field-based tests \n Organise on-site support during EMC, environmental, RF, integration, and acceptance testing as required \n Report back on test results, observations, and non-conformities, ensuring accurate reporting and traceability \n \n \nDocumentation Control\n \n \n Maintain compliance and certification records for all SRT products \n Organise and manage: \n \n Test reports, Certificates, Declarations of Conformity, Technical files, Compliance matrices, Risk assessments, etc \n \n Ensure documentation is controlled and stored in accordance with company procedures \n \n \nRegulatory Support\n \n \n Monitor regulatory changes affecting products and target markets \n Prepare certification submissions and maintain certification registers and renewal schedules \n \n \nProject Coordination\n \n \n Attend project review meetings and provide compliance status updates \n Track actions resulting from certification and test activities and escalate risks that could impact project delivery or certification approval \n \n \nRequirements - Product Compliance Coordinator - not exhaustive:\n \n \n Essential - HNC/HND, Degree, or equivalent experience in Engineering, Electronics, Scientific Discipline, or Similar \n Qualification in Compliance, Project Management or Quality Systems \n Knowledge of consumer or marine electronics, or radio communication systems \n Experience coordinating testing activities, or certification programmes \n Experience gaining certifications for consumer electronics including UKCA, RED, and FCC \n \n \nBenefits Package\n \n \n Excellent salary and package \n Private health care \n Career Development opportunities \n \n \nPlease note\n \n \n This role will require travel to our cu
