What You’ll Be Doing
- Act as Product Owner for SRT’s Systems Marine Domain Awareness application teams.
- Work with a cross-functional team to integrate new features into our maritime domain awareness solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, technical SMEs, and customers to define and refine innovative new features for our roadmap.
- Evolve early product concepts into features that solve our users' problems.
- Be the subject matter expert on our Systems MDA Application.
- Work closely with UX/UI design colleagues to ensure new features meet a high bar for usability and visual impact.
- Build strong relationships with your stakeholders and ensure alignment across development teams.
- Present features to the wider team and stakeholders in regular reviews.
- Train our Customer Success and Support teams on new functionality.
- Understand wider end-to-end use cases for our systems technologies, and how the features you define fit into an overall system solution.
- Use your experience to help evolve our agile development process.
What You’ll Bring
- Product ownership experience, ideally developing technology for B2B or B2G.
- Understanding of best practice in Agile software delivery and the role of a product owner in that context.
- Comfortable working at pace, managing change and removing uncertainty.
- Experience collaborating with UX/UI designers, data scientists, and developers.
- Clear and concise communicator, able to bring complex topics to a non-technical audience and infer requirements from non-technical stakeholders and users.
- Pragmatic in approach to Product Management and Agile delivery.
- Ability to clearly convey requirements in both formal requirements documentation and user story format.
- Some background in software development, solution architecture or another technical discipline will be beneficial for technical discussions with the team and suppliers.
- Willing to stretch product skills into software delivery management.
