We are currently seeking a full-time experienced double glazing engineer/fitter our specialist double glazing company based in Caterham, Surrey. We cover the entire south east region, predominantly working for a large number of housing associations and private tenants. Working pattern is Monday to Friday to be on site between the hours of 8am-5pm. Your work duties vary daily and you will be working remotely but daily tasks involve repairs to UPVC, aluminium and timber windows and doors. This includes vertical sliders, standard casements, french openers and tilt and turn. You will given a number of jobs daily where you are expected to drive to and access the issue; then carry out the necessary repairs and report back your findings. The successful candidate must have at least 5 years experience with good knowledge of maintenance repairs to have the ability to diagnose problems and provide solutions. An experienced engineer must be technical and skilled to perform on the job repairs and fit windows and doors to a professional standard. Must have the ability to use smartphones and applications, and hold a clean and full UK drivers licence which is essential as they will be required to travel via the company van which we provide. Company benefits include a company pension, 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays) and extra additional days off over the festive period. We also provide company work tops, fuel cards and business banking cards for company use only. Salary starting from £30,000-£40,000 depending on knowledge and experience
